About Ozzie Fumo
An adjunct professor at the UNLV Boyd School of Law, small business owner, and practicing trial attorney, Assemblyman Ozzie Fumo is a first-generation American who grew up right here in Las Vegas.
A partner at Pitaro & Fumo, Ozzie is known throughout the Las Vegas legal community for his commitment to fairness under the law and his fierce advocacy for Nevadans from all walks of life.
“Early on I learned about bullies, how sometimes they’re people, sometimes they’re corporations, and sometimes they’re even the government. That’s why I do the work I do, because I believe everyone deserves a defense and everyone should be treated fairly under the law.”
In addition to his legal practice and teaching, Ozzie has one of the few select members of the community to sit as a Judge on Metro’s Police Use of Force Board.
First elected to represent Assembly District 21 in 2016, Assemblyman Fumo he has a track record of success in our state legislature that includes fighting to protect Nevada’s most vulnerable, workers, and our children.
Ozzie and his family have lived in southeast Las Vegas since 1999. Together, he and his wife Ellen are parents and grandparents working to make Nevada better, safer, and a loving home to the next generation of Nevadans.
